Slavin


Robert Slavin is co-director of the Center for Research on the Education of Students Placed at Risk at Johns Hopkins University and chairman of the Success for All Foundation. Slavin has authored or co-authored more than 200 articles and 15 books, including Educational Psychology: Theory into Practice, School and Classroom Organization, Effective Programs for Students at Risk, Cooperative Learning: Theory, Research, and Practice, Preventing Early School Failure and Show Me the Evidence: Proven and Promising Programs for America's Schools. A longtime advocate of cooperative learning, he is a co-founder of the Success for All Foundation; SAF programs have been adopted in more than 500 districts in 48 states.
